Hazards addressed by the Vermont Healthy Homes program
Our homes may contain a variety of health and safety hazards that can cause harm in the form of minor to very serious injuries, asthma and allergies, or even death. Most of these hazards are entirely preventable.
|Hazards like fire and carbon monoxide exposure can be fatal||Some household chemicals can cause illness or injury if improperly stored or used||Vulnerable populations are at greater risk for certain hazards||Proactive repairs, such as the installation of a railing, can prevent injuries||
