Why did you join VHCB AmeriCorps?

I joined VHCB AmeriCorps because I saw an opportunity to serve communities in a meaningful way and work with people who are making renewable energy a reality.

What are you learning or gaining out of your service?

During my term, I've learned the value of community engagement and dialogue, and I've seen that real progress can be made from the ground up.

What would you like other people to know about serving in AmeriCorps?

I would tell anyone considering an AmeriCorps term that there is no better way to get involved in something that drives you, and make a real contribution while gaining firsthand experience!

VHCB AmeriCorps is a program of the
Vermont Housing & Conservation Board.
