VHCB AmeriCorps Member Receives Governor's Service Award

Luke Rackers received a Governor's Service Award for his outstanding service at Central Vermont Council on Aging. This is Luke's second year as a VHCB AmeriCorps member serving at Central Vermont Council on Aging.

Luke was nominated by Central Vermont Council on Aging for his commitment to service and innovative presence, both of which have made a lasting impact at his host site. Luke matches volunteers to seniors in their community, provides support to ensure successful matches, and helps older Vermonters stay in their homes. 

Luke was honored at a ceremony with Governor Phil Scott on April 3rd. Congratulations Luke!
