Single Mom Receives Assistance to Address Lead Paint Hazards in her Home
March 23, 2018
“I cannot tell you how helpful your visit was. I feel so much better equipped to manage this now. With profound gratitude – thank you!”
Brianne is a single mom in Hartford who was concerned about lead paint in her home and the exposure of her three year old son. Overwhelmed by information about lead poisoning and how to make her home lead-safe, she asked VHCB’s Lead Paint Hazard Reduction Program for advice. Our Project Manager, Mark Diego, visited Brianne’s home, conducted some tests and gave Brianne strategies for keeping her home lead-safe.
